Dr. Charles Ampadu is an internist who is affiliated with Gateway Regional Medical Center Hospital in Granite City, Illinois. He completed his undergraduate education at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago in Biomedical Science, then to the University of Illinois College of Medicine for his medical education. Dr. Ampadu completed both his internship and residency training at Cook County hospital in Chicago now known as John H. Stroger Jr. Hospital of Cook County. He is Board Certified in Internal Medicine, a Fellow of American College of Physicians, a member of the American Society of Internal Medicine as well as American Medical Association. He has more than 20 years of medical experience receiving multiple awards including Leading Physicians of the World and IL Top Docs in 2018, 2019 & 2020.
